Privacy Policy

Uppercase (“we”, “us”) is a tool for visualizing and planning website structure, operated by lowercase b2b, LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Uppercase at app.tryuppercase.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.

Google Search Console data. If you sign in with Google or connect Search Console, you grant Uppercase read-only access to your Search Console properties (the webmasters.readonly permission). We use this to show indexing status and search performance for the pages of sites you map. We cannot make any changes to your Search Console account. Search Console data is fetched when you view it and is not stored in our database.

Google access tokens. To keep your Search Console connection working, we store a Google refresh token. It is encrypted before it is stored and is only used by our servers to read your Search Console data on your behalf.

Sites and maps you create. When you enter a website address, we fetch that site’s public sitemap and public pages to build your map. We store the maps you save, including page names, URLs, structure, target keywords, and keyword metrics.

Keyword data. When you look up keyword volume or difficulty, the keywords you enter are sent to our keyword data provider (DataForSEO, or Ahrefs if your organization connects its own Ahrefs account). We cache the results.

CDN and crawler data (optional). If you connect a Cloudflare account or a Vercel log drain to track AI crawler activity, we receive request logs for that site — specifically which automated crawlers visited which pages and when. Any credentials you provide for this are encrypted before storage.

Cookies. We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to secure the Google sign-in process. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not use third-party tracking.

How we use your information

We use the information above only to provide and operate Uppercase: to sign you in, build and save your maps, show Search Console and keyword data for your sites, and let you share maps you choose to share. We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the service providers listed below.

Google user data

Uppercase’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, we use Google user data only to provide the features you see in Uppercase. We do not use it for advertising, do not sell it, do not use it to train AI models, and do not allow humans to read it unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security, or it is required by law.

Shared maps

If you turn on sharing for a map, anyone with its link can view that map — its pages, structure, and keyword data. Search Console data and account details are never included in a shared map. You can turn sharing off at any time, which immediately disables the link.

Service providers

We rely on these providers to run Uppercase:

• SupabaseDatabase and sign-in
• VercelHosting
• GoogleSign-in and Search Console data
• DataForSEO / AhrefsKeyword metrics
• CloudflareOnly if you connect it for crawler tracking

Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and maps for as long as your account is active. You can delete maps at any time. You can disconnect Search Console from Settings, which deletes your stored Google token. You can also revoke Uppercase’s access at any time from your Google account permissions.

To delete your account and all associated data, email us at uppercase@lowercaseb2b.com and we will do so within 30 days.

Security

Access tokens and third-party credentials are encrypted at rest. Access to your organization’s data is restricted to members of your organization at the database level.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date above and let you know in the app.
